Ingredients
  • 1 pound Shirataki Noodles, packed in water
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ⅛ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 8 ounces extra firm tofu, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1½ teaspoons sesame oil
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 4 finely chopped green onions
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot Chinese chili sauce (to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • teaspoon sugar
  • shredded Napa Cabbage chopped
  • toasted peanuts
Instructions
  1. Drain and rinse the Shirataki Noodles and place them in a saucepan with the water, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Bring to a boil .
  2. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  3. Toss the tofu cubes with the 1 tablespoon soy sauce and ¼ teaspoon sesame oil and set aside while you heat an oiled non-stick skillet or wok.
  4. When the skillet is hot, lift the tofu from the marinade and pan-fry it until it is lightly brown on all sides. Remove it from the skillet and place it back in the bowl with the marinade.
  5. Stir gently, and set aside.
  6. Add the remaining 1½ teaspoon sesame oil to the pan.
  7. Over medium-high heat, stir fry the red pepper, garlic, green onions, and mushrooms until the mushrooms start to exude their juices.
  8. Add the lime juice, 3 teaspoons soy sauce, and sugar, and stir well.
  9. Continue stir-frying until the mixture boils.
  10. Drain the noodles and add them to the pan, along with the tofu and its marinade.
  11. Toss well to mix.
  12. Serve on a bed of shredded cabbage and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.

  • 1 -8 ounce package Shirataki Noodles
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup frozen broccoli chopped & drained
  • cup frozen cauliflower, chopped & drained
  • cup yellow squash, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh chives
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened coconut
  • teaspoon curry powder
  • teaspoon garlic powder
  • teaspoon cumin
  • pinch salt
  • cup heavy cream
  • teaspoon coriander
  • teaspoon cardamom
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Drain the Shirataki Noodles. Rinse under warm water . Rinse well. Place on paper towels to dry. Using kitchen shears, cut the Shirataki into bite size pieces..
  3. In a bowl, whisk the egg and add the noodles, broccoli, cauliflower, squash and chives.
  4. Add the salt and pepper, mixing until egg is incorporated.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Using a 3 inch ice cream scoop, scoop noodle vegetable mixture onto baking sheet, placing at least 2 inches apart and lightly pat down the tops.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium low heat, whisk together the heavy cream, coconut, curry powder, garlic powder, salt, cumin, coriander, and cardamom until slightly thickened.
  9. Remove sauce from heat and serve over noodle vegetable patties.
  10. Can be served as an appetizer or main course.

Beef and Asparagus Shirataki Toss

Ingredients
  • 1 pound beef sandwich steaks
  • 1 - 8 ounce package Shirataki Noodles
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ¼ cup minced scallions
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi powder
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • salt pepper
Instructions
  1. Cut the sandwich steaks into thin strips.
  2. Drain the Shirataki Noodles. Rinse under warm water . Rinse well. Place on paper towels to dry.
  3. In a pot with beef broth, add the asparagus and cook 3-4 minutes or until asparagus is tender. Drain well.
  4. Meanwhile, in a 12-inch skillet, sauté the scallions and garlic in the olive oil and add the sandwich steaks.
  5. Cook for about 10-15 minutes or until the beef strips are tender.
  6. Add the ginger.
  7. Mix the wasabi powder and the soy sauce together.
  8. Pour into the beef mixture and mix well.
  9. Add the Shirataki Noodles to the beef mixture.
  10. Season with salt and pepper.
