Ingredients
  • 16 ounces Shirataki Fettucine Noodles
  • ¾ pound bulk Italian sausage
  • 4½ teaspoons olive oil
  • 1½ teaspoons butter or margarine
  • ¾ cup red pepper
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • ½ cup dry white wine or chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup grated Romano cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, cook sausage in oil and butter over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Add red pepper and onion: cook and stir until vegetables are tender and sausage is no longer pink.
  3. Add wine or broth: cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the cream , cheese , salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat : cook over low heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Drain and rinse the Shirataki Fettucine under warm water. The noodles will warm under the warm water.
  7. In a large bowl combine sausage mixture and noodles.
  8. Before serving, sprinkle with parsley.

Shirataki Salad w/ Spicy Peanut Dressing

Shirataki Salad with Spicy Peanut Dressing

Ingredients
  • 1 pound Shirataki Noodles
  • ½ cup Couscous
  • ½ cup water or vegetable stock hot
  • 1 red pepper, sweet; cut into strips ¼ x 1½ inches
  • ½ cup peanuts, unsalted; roasted
  • 2 scallions; thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup parsley, fresh; chopped
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter, smooth
  • 1 garlic clove; finely minced
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
  1. Drain the Shirataki Noodles. Rinse under warm water . Rinse well. Place on paper towels to dry.
  2. Add Shirataki Noodles with couscous to salad ingredients.
  3. Pour on dressing; toss again.
  4. Top with a garnish of orange slices, mandarin orange segments, or pineapple slices and raisins, optional.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound Shirataki Noodles
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon beef stock
  • 2 cloves garlic -- minced
  • pepper -- to taste
  • 1½ pounds round steak
  • ½ cup cauliflower florets
  • ½ cup broccoli florets
  • 2 medium carrots -- julienned
  • ½ medium green pepper -- julienned
  • ½ medium red pepper -- julienned
  • 2 each green onions -- thinly sliced
  • cup light Italian salad dressing
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Parmesan cheese -- , grated
Instructions
  1. Drain and rinse Shirataki Noodles very well. Place on paper towels to dry and set aside.
  2. In shallow baking dish, combine oil, vinegar, beef stock, garlic, and pepper to taste.
  3. Pierce steak at regular intervals with fork; add to marinade and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate to marinate for 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
  4. Remove steak from marinade.
  5. Broil for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  6. Cut in very thin slices diagonally across the grain.
  7. Blanch cauliflower, broccoli and carrots; cool immediately in ice water and pat dry.
  8. In large bowl, combine steak, Shirataki Noodles, cauliflower, brocolli, carrots, red and green peppers, onions, salad dressing, salt, and pepper to taste.
  9. Let stand for 1 hour to blend flavours.
  10. Garnish with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
