  • 8 ounces Shirataki Macaroni Noodles
  • 8 oonces lean boneless sirloin steak
  • ½ teaspoon each ground cumin, salt and pepper
  • 3 medium poblano chile peppers, halved and seeded
  • 1 ear fresh corn, husked
  • 1 medium sweet onion, sliced ½ inch thick
  • Nonstick spray
  • 2 large ripe tomatoes, cut in bite-size chunks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • ½ cup chopped cilantro
  1. Drain Shirataki Macaroni Noodles, rinse under cold water and drain again. Pat dry with paper towels. Transfer to a large serving bowl.
  2. Heat outdoor grill. Rub steak with ¼ tsp each of the cumin, salt and pepper.
  3. Coat steak, peppers, corn and onion with nonstick spray.
  4. Grill steak 4 to 6 minutes, turning once, for medium-rare. Remove to cutting board; let stand 5 minutes.
  5. Grill peppers, corn and onion 8 to 10 minutes, turning as needed until lightly charred and tender.
  6. Cut peppers and onion into bite-size pieces and cut corn off cob; add to bowl with pasta.
  7. Slice steak thinly against the grain and add to bowl.
  8. Add remaining cumin, salt and pepper and remaining ingredients to bowl; toss to mix and coat.

  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 can (10¾ ounces) condensed beef consommé
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak , ¾-inch thick, cut into very thin strips
  • 1½ cup fresh or frozen broccoli florets
  • 1 medium onion , cut into wedges
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound Shirataki Noodles
  1. Rinse the Shirataki Noodles under warm water.
  2. Then dry roast the Shirataki Noodles.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat. Add the shirataki noodles and dry roast for around 1 minute. When the noodles are dry, you often hear a squeaking noise as you move them around in the pan. Set aside.
  4. Stir the cornstarch, consommé and water in a small bowl until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Add the beef and stir-fry until well browned.
  7. Push the beef to one side of the skillet.
  8. Add the broccoli, onion and garlic to the other side of the skillet and stir-fry until tender-crisp.
  9. Stir the cornstarch mixture in the skillet.
  10. Cook and stir until the mixture boils and thickens.
  11. Serve the beef mixture over the Shirataki Noodles.

Stir Fried Beef on Shirataki Noodles

Stir Fried Beef on Shirataki Noodles

  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into ⅛ strips
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • ½ pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh snow peas
  • 4 teaspoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 pound package Shirataki Noodles
  1. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce and wine or broth. Reserve ¼ cup.
  2. Place beef in a resealable plastic bag. Add remaining soy sauce mixture ; seal and mix. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  3. Place cornstarch in a small bowl. Stir in remaining ¼ cup soy sauce mixture until smooth and set aside.
  4. In a non stick skillet, stir fry mushrooms and snow peas in 2 teaspoons hot oil for 3 to 4 minutes, or until snow peas are crisp- tender.
  5. Remove from pan and keep warm.
  6. Drain and discard marinade from beef.
  7. In same skillet, stir fry in remaining oil for 2 minutes.
  8. Stir cornstarch mixture : add to skillet. Bring to a boil ; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  9. Drain and rinse Shiratki Noodles under warm water. Pat dry.
  10. Add mounds of noodles on four serving plates.
  11. Top with beef mixture and snow peas and mushroom mixture.
